Dr. Victoria has several reasons for running for School Committee. She would like to emphasize the importance of having the Superintendent of Schools living locally and working on site, rather than remotely. Victoria stresses that accountability and transparency are crucial when overseeing the management of the $150M bond allocated for school construction. She is concerned about the number of students opting for private schooling or programs in North Kingstown, and aims to retain more students within our district. Victoria is a proponent of increasing enrollment in East Greenwich High School's CTE programs focused on STEM by enhancing awareness among district residents and neighboring communities. Additionally, she envisions broadening the reach of Mock Trial and Music programs at Cole Middle School to encompass a greater number of students and musical styles.
